Since 2004 medar pysden has been the producer and project management company for the European Business Leaders Awards (EBLA) programme which examines and honours business leadership across Europe’s top-ranked companies. Our role is to direct the chief executive nominations, manage the confidential judging process and to deliver the VIP pan-European Awards events.
Run for seven seasons, CNBC European Business Leaders Awards programme, hosted by CNBC in partnership with the Financial Times recognised the most outstanding executive leaders in Europe today. The Awards honoured chief executives who are making a difference through leadership and innovation in their industry sectors. What makes these Awards distinctive is that nominations are by CEO peers, leaders from the top-ranked FT 500 Global European companies. medar pysden curates the Awards programme and leads the interface with the chief executives and judges.
SInce 2007 EBLA has been hosted in partnership with the Financial Times whose editor, Lionel Barber, joined the prestigious judging panel which also comprised of past Award CEO winners including Fiat's Sergio Marchionne, Reckitt Benkiser's Bart Becht, Nestle's Peter Brabeck Letmathe, McDonald's, Denis Hennequin and chaired by Sir William Castell, Chairman of the Wellcome Trust.
Lifetime Achievement Award winners have included Ferdinand Piech, Chairman of VW Group and Sir John Bond, HSBC.
Tribute is paid to all the winners, finalists and the nominations panel at an By Invitation Only VIP Awards ceremony in London in March each year and news of the event broadcast on CNBC, reaching over 110 million households in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
